One of the most highly anticipated footwear collaborations of 2017 was Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. It was the first time Jordan Brand and Virgil Abloh had teamed up. With a Chicago-themed colorway of white, black, and varsity red, this pair is known as “The 10.”. In addition to the white, red and black upper, there is a Swooshless medial side that reads “Off-White for Nike Air Jordan 1, Beaverton, Oregon, USA, 1985.” Details include floppy ankle collars with hidden “85” written on the inside, an oversized Swoosh on the lateral sides, “Air” written on the midsole, and the word “Shoelaces” on the laces.
Air Jordan 1 x Off-White comes in the classic Chicago colorway designed by Virgil Abloh. They feature a blue Swoosh stitched to the shoe, ‘Air’ printed on the midsole, and an Off-White zip tie on the collar. Turned inside-out, the box consists of a black base and a gold Jumpman logo on the inside, while the outside is plain cardboard with the words ‘Jumpman’ printed on it. There were remixes of the Air VaporMax, Air Presto, Air Max 90, Blazer, Air Max 97, Hyperdunk 2017, Air Force 1, Zoom Fly, and Chuck Taylor in Virgil’s Off-White collection.
